You simply remove the EGR pipe bolts and the bolts holding the EGR valve to the intake manifold. You have to unplug the anti-shudder valve and the EGR valve vacuum lines as well. An EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculate) delete does not remove the ASV (Anti-Shudder Valve) portion of the Kombi valve on the ALH TDI unless you are installing a race pipe. The kit does come with block off plates for the exhaust manifold as well as the bottom of the Kombi valve.
